Artificial leg prices in Karachi

Price is the first question families ask and the last one most clinics answer. We publish ranges because a family deciding between a leg and a daughter's school fees deserves numbers, not a request to come in and find out.

How much does an artificial leg cost in Karachi?

As an indicative guide for 2026, a below knee artificial leg in Karachi costs roughly PKR 80,000 to 350,000 with local and mid range parts, and an above knee leg roughly PKR 150,000 to 600,000. Imported carbon feet, hydraulic knees and microprocessor knees raise the total well beyond that. The level, the socket, the liner, the knee and the foot decide the figure.

Every budget

Three levels, from affordable to high end

We quote all three for every patient who asks, and we say plainly which one we would choose in your place.

The lowest figure is the simplest sound build on a straightforward stump. A short, scarred or very heavy duty case costs more, and we tell you that on the phone, before you travel.

What a proper quotation should include

A single total on a slip of paper tells you nothing. Ask for the following from any clinic. It is your right as the person paying.

  • Each part on its own line: socket type, liner, suspension, knee, foot, adapters, cover
  • The maker and model of every bought in part, and whether it is new
  • Whether a test socket is included
  • How many gait training sessions are included
  • What adjustments are included after delivery, and for how long
  • The warranty on each part, and who honours it
  • How many days the quoted price is held
  • The advance, the balance, and when each is due

If you are paying from another country

All our quotations are in Pakistani rupees, because parts and labour are paid for in rupees. If you are sending money from the Gulf, the United Kingdom, Europe or North America, ask us for the equivalent in your currency on the day, since the rate moves. The written quotation and the receipts are sent to you directly on WhatsApp or by email, so you can see exactly what your money is buying.

Questions

Price questions

Ask your own question on WhatsApp

Why do you give ranges and not one price?

Because the honest answer depends on your stump, your weight, your activity and the parts you choose. A single advertised price is either for the most basic build, or is not real. A range lets you plan. The firm figure follows the free assessment.

What is the cheapest safe artificial leg?

A below knee leg with a well made plastic or laminated socket, a foam insert or sock fit, a strap or sleeve, tested adapters and a SACH foot, at roughly PKR 80,000 to 150,000 as an indicative 2026 figure. It is a respectable, durable leg.

Is the assessment charged?

No. The first assessment is free and carries no obligation to order.

Why is another clinic much cheaper?

Ask what is left out: the test socket, the training, tested adapters, a new liner, aftercare. Sometimes the saving is real. Often it is one of these.
