Artificial leg brands in Pakistan

Families arrive with a brand name given by a relative, a doctor or a video. A brand is not a leg. It is a maker of parts, and every maker has parts that suit you and parts that do not. These guides explain each one plainly, so the name on the quotation means something.

Which artificial leg brands are available in Pakistan?

The major international makers are all obtainable in Pakistan by import to order, including Ottobock, Ossur, Blatchford, Proteor, Fillauer, College Park, WillowWood and ALPS, alongside regional and locally made parts. No brand makes a whole leg. Each makes components, and the socket is always made locally from the patient's cast, so the prosthetist's work matters as much as the name on the parts.

How we work with brands

Imported to order, recommended without favour

We hold no exclusive arrangement with any manufacturer, and we are not the official representative of any of them. We import and fit whichever maker's part suits the patient, to order.

  • The quotation names the maker, the model and the weight category of every bought in part.
  • You may see imported parts in their sealed packaging, with serial numbers, before they are fitted.
  • Warranty paperwork is made out in the patient's name.
  • We tell you the expected arrival time before an advance is taken, and the advance is recorded against the named part.
  • If a cheaper part from another maker does the same job, we say so.

Where imported parts are worth the money, and where they are not

Questions

Questions about brands

Ask your own question on WhatsApp

Which is the best artificial leg brand?

There is no single best. The best leg is a well fitted local socket with parts, often from two or three makers, matched to the person's weight, activity, skin and budget.

Do I have to choose one brand for the whole leg?

No. Parts from different makers join with standard adapters. A liner from one, a knee from another and a foot from a third is common and perfectly sound.

Why do prices for the same brand differ between clinics?

Different models within the brand, new against used or refurbished stock, what is included in fitting and training, and the exchange rate on the day. Ask for model numbers and compare like with like.

Can you obtain a brand that is not listed here?

Very probably. Tell us the maker and the model. If it can be imported with proper paperwork and supported afterwards, we will quote for it.
